The Forest Hills Football League , also known as the Queens Falcons , has proudly served the community since 1957. As a nonprofit organization and IRS-recognized 501(c)(3), our mission is to teach young people the fundamentals of football while helping them develop confidence, teamwork, and leadership.
Over the past 65+ years, the program has grown from a small intramural town league into a five-team traveling program serving approximately 200 players between the ages of 7 and 17.
Our football program is a valued part of the community. Through dedication to our players, our coaches lead by example and emphasize education, physical fitness, and maintaining a healthy, substance-free lifestyle. The Queens Falcons provide a positive environment where young athletes can learn the game, build lasting friendships, and grow as individuals—physically, intellectually, and emotionally.
You supply the commitment, we’ll supply the equipment.
P HILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is that football reflects many of life’s lessons. Learning to face challenges on the field helps prepare young athletes to handle the adversity they may encounter later in life. As coaches and mentors, we believe it is our responsibility not only to teach the game of football, but also to help guide our players as they grow into confident, well-rounded young adults.
We strive to create a positive and supportive environment where every player is encouraged to work hard, respect others, and take pride in their effort. The lessons learned through teamwork, discipline, and perseverance extend far beyond the field.
M ISSION
The mission of our program is to provide youth across New York City with the opportunity to develop talents and skills they can use both on and off the field—today and throughout their lives. We believe team sports are a powerful way to bring communities together, promote inclusion, and teach young athletes the importance of placing the team’s success above individual recognition.
Through football, players learn the values of teamwork, respect, and responsibility while building strong relationships with their teammates. The sport provides a meaningful opportunity for young people to develop character, confidence, and self-esteem while striving for personal excellence and contributing to the success of the team as a whole.
